Your Edmodo Backpack
is like a virtual flash drive that works similarly to the Teacher Library. As a student, you can store an unlimited amount of files/links here and link your Google Drive to your Backpack. You can attach items from your Backpack to Posts or Assignments. There is a 100 MB per upload limit, but the overall storage available is unlimited.Add Files or Links to your BackPack
To add files or links to your Backpack, just follow the steps below:
- Click on the “Backpack” icon
in the top toolbar. - Click the “Add to Backpack” button in the top right corner.
- Click "Upload Files" to browse for a file on your computer or click "Link" to paste in a link.
- Click the “Add” button to finalize the addition to your Backpack.
- Next, you might want to make a folder in your Backpack to help organize your Backpack resources.
Note: There is unlimited storage available, but each upload must be smaller than 100MB in size. If you are uploading a large number of files, break them into groups so that each upload does not exceed 100MB. Adding image files to your Backpack may result in reduced image resolution.
Create Folders in your Backpack
- To help keep your Backpack organized, create Folders by following the steps below:
- Click on the "Backpack" icon
in the top toolbar. - Select "Folders" from the left side panel.
- Click the “New Folder” button in the top right of the page.
- Type the name of your Folder in the facebox window.
- Click “Create” and your folder will appear in your Backpack.
Note: Once you have created folders, you can move content from your Backpack to the folder(s).
- Click on the "Backpack" icon
